Stained Glass Beautiful Day Card

There are so many amazing stamps in the new Occasions Catalog. The Beautiful Day is definitely one of my favorites. I love the big images.

This card is stunning in person the sparkle from the Wink Of Stella is simply beautiful. I heat embossed the butterfly in gold to match the Painted With Love DSP that has the gold foil accents.

These are just some of the gorgeous new product available in the 2018 Occasions Catalog. I’ll be sharing more each week as I ink up new stamps and cut new papers!

Cutting & Scoring

• Card base in Powder Pink cut at 4 ¼” by 11″ scored at 5 ½”
• DSP cut at 1 ½” by 5 ½”
• Sweet Sugarplum cut at 2″ by 4 ¼” or 1 ¼” by 4 ¼”
• Vellum cut at 4″ by 4″
• Whisper White cut at 4″ by 5 ¼” (for the inside)

Instructions

• Cut and score card base and fold in half
• First attach the Sweet Sugarplum and then add the DSP over it
• Use you Embossing Buddy and go over the Vellum
• Take the VersaMark Ink and stamp the butterfly and use the Gold Embossing Powder over the image
• Heat set the butterfly
• Fussy cut the butterfly and turn it over and color it in
• Take Glue Dots and attach it to the butterflies body, place it on the card and lift the wings slightly
• I stamped and heat set the sentiment for the inside and randomly stamped the little flowers in Powder Pink

I used Stampin’ Blends on the butterfly. Do you have these alcohol markers yet? They are AMAZING!

This is a card I did using those Stampin’ Blends. I found coloring with Stampin’ Blends to be so easy. I am no expert in blending or coloring so these are perfect for me.
