Cutting and Scoring for Card
- Card base is whisper white and that is cut at 5 ½ by 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼
- Pool Party piece is cut at 2 ¾ by 4 ¼
- Piece of scrap paper big enough to punch out a 2″ circle and a 1 ¾ half circle
Cutting and Scoring for the Rose Bud
- Start with a piece of card stock at 3 ½ by 3 ½
- Score on all four sides at 7/8
- You will than score at 1 ¾ on all four sides up the 7/8 in score line
- Cut a 1 by 3 piece for the Hershey’s nugget
Instructions for Card
- Fold card base in half and run it through the bigshot with the layered leaves embossing folder
- Take the pool party piece and run it through the big shot with the layered leaves aswell
- Use the 1 ¾ and punch a notch out of the pool party piece and use tear and tape all along the sides and bottom and place that on the inside of the card
- On a scrap piece of paper stamp your sentiment and punch it out with the 2″ circle punch
- I did “made with love” and punched that out with the 1 ¾ circle punch not punching a full circle, only a half circle and placed that on the pool party piece
- The piece that was notched out I used for the front sentiment and used fast fuse to attach it to the 2″ white circle
- I placed fast fuse behind the circle and used thread to go around the circle and then popped it up with dimensional’s, added some metallic enamel shape to the focal point
- randomly place rhinestone all over the front
Instructions for the Rose Bud
- Once you have your paper cut at 3 ½ by 3 ½
- Score as directed above – Cutting and Scoring instructions for Rose Bud
- You will then cut off all the squares in the corners
- Cut up along all the score lines to the 7/8 in line
- All the corners need to be rounded. Using your envelope punch board round all the corners
- Take a sponge dauber or a sponge and using the same color as the card stock sponge all the edges
- Use your bone folder and gently break down the fibers to get the card stock to curl
- On one petal use multipurpose liquid glue and only put glue in a triangle shape
- Do it all the way round the flower
- Die cut the leaves and attach it to the bottom of the rose
- Stamp a sentiment and cut it out and attach it with glue dots
