My Inky Friends Thankful For Blog Hop

For my card today I used the stamp set Making Everyday Bright

I love doing watercolor backgrounds on cards. I don’t normally Heat Emboss but this card needed that.

Colored leaves and popped them up with Dimensionals

Cutting & Scoring

• Whisper White Thick – 5 ½” x 8 ½” score and folded at 4 ¼”
• Watercolor Paper – 4″ x 5 ¼”
• Whisper White – 1 ¼” x 4″

Instructions

• Fold card base in half
• Press Ink into the lid of Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie
• With your Aqua Painter pick up ink and swish it around on the water-color paper
• Wait for Ink to dry
• On the Whisper White 1 ¼” x 4″ use your Embossing Buddy and rub it on your cardstock
• With Versamark Ink stamp the leaves and sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder
• Heat Emboss & Punch out leaves (4 leaves)
• Rub your Embossing Buddy in the bottom corner and stamp your “thank you” sentiment with Versamark Ink
• Heat Emboss
• 2 Leaves are stamped with Versamark Ink on the watercolor paper and Heat Embossed
• Colored the 4 leaves with Blender Pens
• Added Gold Metallic Thread and added leaves at random
• Some leaves have Dimension and some leaves don’t
• Heat Embossed the inside of the card too
• With the ⅛” Handheld punch I punched out a few Glimmer Dots and placed them at random using the Take Your Pick Tool
