My Inky Friends Hidden Gems Blog Hop March 2018
Hello and Welcome to My Inky Friends Hidden Gems Blog Hop for March 2018
We are excited to share our creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list. I chose Jar Of Love with coordinating Framelits. Here is what I made:
I love this card. It came together really quickly.
Always make sure to stamp the inside. It’s so important.
Cutting & Scoring
- Basic Black cut at 5 ½”by 8 ½” scored in half at 4 ¼”
- Whisper White cut at 4″ by 5 ¼” (inside of card)
- Whisper White 3 ¾” by 5″ (for the front)
- Additional Whisper White to stamp and die cut elements 4″ by 5″
Instructions
- Fold card in half
- With the Whisper White 3 ¾” by 5″ I used the Sponge Dauber and Daffodil Delight and made small circles
- For the leaves/grass I used Pear Pizzazz and stamped on and off to give the Pear Pizzazz different shades to look like grass
- Started Sponging with Marina Mist, then added Island Indigo, sponged Pacific Point and finished it off with Night Of Navy to make a night sky
- Die cut lid, flies and jar
- Stamped flies inside the jar
- All elements on the front of the card are popped up with Dimensional’s except one fly this also includes the 3 ¾” by 5″ piece
- I placed Solid Baker’s Twine around the lid
- Stamped the inside and Sponged the edges and lightly over the entire inside of card

Awww! This is one of my favorite stamp sets! I love the yellow circles of lights around the fireflies. It’s like the card tells a story with the lid on the ground and the bugs are free. Very pretty!!!!
