My Inky Friends Design Challenge No 6

Hello Stamping Friends,

I am so excited to be apart of these monthly Design Challenges with my fabulous Inky Friends. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who met through an online community. We get to create something new and have lots of fun along the way. This months sketch is above.

Here is my creation

I really love these colors together. They are gorgeous.

Cutting & Scoring

Melon Mambo – 4 ¼” by 11″ score and folded at 5 ½”
Crushed Curry – ¾” by 4 ¼” (2 pieces)
Bermuda Bay – 2″ by 4 1/8″
Whisper White Square – 2 5/8″ by 2 5/8″
Whisper White – 4″ by 5 ¼” (inside card)
Burlap Ribbon – 2 strands – 20″

Instructions

Fold card base in half
Before adding the Crushed Curry, I stamped the dots on opposite corners
Added the 2 strips of Crushed Curry
Wrapped 2 strands of the Burlap Ribbon and tied a bow on the side, placed it over the Crushed Curry
Used the Stitched Shape Framelits and die cut a square, stamped the sentiment
Placed Stampin’ Dimensionals behind it and added it to the card
I stamped the inside of the card as shown

You can play along at any time, but if you want to be in the contest, then you need to post your creation within two weeks. The challenges will focus on finding inspiration from our Catalogs.
