My Inky Friends Design Challenge No 5

Hello Stamping Friends,

I am super excited to be part of a brand new monthly Design Challenge with my fabulous Inky Friends. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who met through an online community. We get to create something new and have lots of fun along the way. This months sketch it below.

This is what I came up with for the design.

I love this stamp set and matching Framelits. You have until May 31st 2018 to purchase it and save 10% thereafter you have to purchase the items separate. BOO! So If you are like me and like to save, I would suggest grabbing it now!

On each fourth Friday of the month a new challenge will post on the My Inky Friends Blog and I will also post my creation there. You can play along at any time, but if you want to be in the contest, then you need to post your creation within two weeks.  The challenges will focus on finding inspiration from our Catalogs.

Between challenges, we will still have monthly blog hops on the second weekend for even more inspiration!

Cutting & Scoring

• Whisper White – 5 ½” by 8 ½” score and folded at 4 ¼”
• Silver Foil – 2″ by 3″
• Whisper White 4″ by 5 ¼”

Instructions

• Fold card base in half
• I die cut the largest Stitched Shape Square
• I also die cut the bottle and bottle caps
• Using my square as a guide I stamped the bubbles around where I wanted to place the Stitched Shape Square
• Colored my bottle in using the Stampin’ Sponge
• Stamped “Have a Birthday Brew” and flagged it at one end and covered the other end with another bottle cap that I popped up with a Dimensional
• I stamped the star with Calypso Coral Ink and punched it out with the ¾” Circle Punch
• Popped the other bottle cap on the bottle with a Dimensional too
• Placed Silver Metallic Thread behind the Stitched Shape Square
• Popped the Stitched Shape Square with Dimensional’s
• Randomly placed silver stars from the Metallic Enamel Shapes
