My Inky Friends Design Challenge No 3

Hello Stamping Friends,

This month’s challenge is a casing the Catalog challenge inspired by page 10 of the Occasions Catalog. I am super excited to be part of a brand new monthly Design Challenge with my fabulous Inky Friends. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who met through an online community. We get to create something new and have lots of fun along the way.

On each fourth Friday of the month a new challenge will post on the My Inky Friends Blog and I will also post my creation there. You can play along at any time, but if you want to be in the contest, then you need to post your creation within two weeks. The challenges will focus on finding inspiration from our Catalogs.

Between challenges, we will still have monthly blog hops on the second weekend for even more inspiration!

Here is what I came up with:

I love these colors, I think this color palette is my new favorite.

This card came together so quick, I was able to use my sponges which I havent done in some time.

Cutting & Scoring

Card base Lemon Lime Twist cut at 5 ½” by 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Berry Burst cut at 3 7/8″ by 5 1/8″
Whisper White cut at 3 ¾” by 4 ¾”
Whisper white strip cut at 1″ by 5 ½”

Instructions

Fold base in half
Add the Berry Burst to the card
With the Whisper White 3 ¾” by 4 ¾” I stamped the flower several times
Took my sponges and added color to the flowers and leaves, attached it to the card
For the sentiment I stamped it, added snail behind it so I could add the Silver Metallic Thread and then popped it up with Dimensionals
Placed Enamel Shapes to finish it off
