My Inky Friends Design Challenge No 2

Hello Stamping Friends,

This month’s challenge is a color challenge inspired by page 35 of the Annual Catalog. I am super excited to be part of a brand new monthly Design Challenge with my fabulous Inky Friends.

On each fourth Friday of the month a new challenge will post on the My Inky Friends Blog and I will also post my creation there. You can play along at any time, but if you want to be in the contest, then you need to post your creation within two weeks.  The challenges will focus on finding inspiration from our Catalogs.

Between challenges, we will still have monthly blog hops on the second weekend for even more inspiration!

Cutting & Scoring

• Card base Whisper White cut at 5 ½” by 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
• Scrap piece of Whisper White to Punch out sentiment and die cut flowers 4″ by 5 ¼”
• Soft Sky big enough to die cut with the largest circle in the Stitched Shape Framelits

Instructions

• I used the Shimmer White Embossing Paste and used Berry Burst Re Inker to change the color, did that first so it would dry and I could work on the other elements
• Die cut a large Stitched Shape Circle with Soft Sky
• Stamped and die cut the flowers out
• Used the Tailored Tag Punch and punched out a Whisper White piece so I could stamp my sentiment in Basic Grey
• Used my Aqua Painter filled with rubbing alcohol and colored the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist and the flowers with Berry Burst
• Die cut some Lemon Lime Twist leaves
• Added all my pieces and placed Silver Metallic Thread behind the Circle and popped it up with Dimensionals, I also place the Lemon Lime leaves behind the circle
