Hello! Welcome to our latest Inking Autumn Blog Hop. We’re celebrating the start of the Stampin’ Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog.
Be prepared for your wish list to grow as you visit each of the talented members participating in this blog hop!
The stamp set I chose was Quilted Christmas.
Cutting & Scoring For Card
- Card base is Crumb Cake cut at 5 ½ by 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼
- Whisper White for the front cut at 3 ¼ by 3 ¼
- Crumb Cake square for the front cut at 3 by 3
- Whisper White for the inside of the card cut at 4 by 5 ¼
Instructions For Card
- I used the stitched looking flower and stamped the card base with it in the Craft Ink
- Took the solid bakers twine and wrapped it around the card a few times and tied a bow
- The Crumb Cake square I stamped the big shape and used the stripped pieces that fit into the star looking thing (don’t know quilting terms)
- On a scrap piece of Whisper White I ran it through the big shot with the flower framelit I did use the multipurpose adhesive sheet on the scrap piece of Whisper White, so when I took the flower off the petals would be sticky allowing me to add the petals in the Lemon Lime and Tranquil Tide
- Die cut a Lemon lime flower and a Tranquil tide flower so I would have the different color petals
- Attached the Crumb Cake square to the Whisper White square
- Popped the Whisper White square on dimensional’s
- Placed a dimensional behind the flower
- Added a Metal Rimmed Pearl
Cutting & Scoring For The Notepad
- Base is Crumb Cake cut at 5 ½ by 8 ½ scored at 2 ¼ and 5 ½ (these measurements would depend on how big your notepad is)
- Designer Series Paper cut at 2 by 3
Instructions For Notepad
- With the Envelope Punch Board I rounded all the corners
- Took the stitched looking flower and stamped all over with the White Craft Ink
- Took my Notepad and the DSP and attached it to the Notepad with Tear & Tape
- Took the Notepad and put Tear & Tape at the back of the Notepad and attached it into the middle of the cover
- Punched out a ¾ inch circle with Lemon Lime Twist
- Also Punched out a 1 inch circle with the Tranquil Tide
- Used the 1/8 Handheld Punch and punched the two circle’s together in the middle
- Attached it with a retired brad that I had
- Also punched out a 1/8 circle on the Crumb Cake (the shorter flap)
- Attached the closing mechanism
- Wrapped the twine around the notepad holder
