CASEing The Catty Mon – Coin Envelopes!

Hi Friends! Happy Monday!

Welcome to another CASEing The Catty Monday. Each week we focus on a card or 3D project from our Catalogs. Today’s inspiration was found on the front cover of the “new” Catalog.

CASEing stands for “Copy And Share Everything” there are other terms used also.

Cutting & Scoring

  • Garden Impressions – 6″ x 6″
    • score at ½” & 3 ¼”
    • rotate and score at ½” & 4 ¾”
  • Magnolia Lane DSP – 8″ x 8 ½”
    • with the 8″ along the top of the trimmer score at ¾” & 6 ½”
    • with the 8 ½” along the top of the trimmer score at ½” & 4 ½”

Instructions

  • Score all the score lines as indicated above depending on paper size
  • With the ½” at the bottom, cut away both rectangle corners
  • On the ½” tab – miter the corners
  • Place Tear & Tape on the ½” tab
  • On the top larger rectangle place it into the trimmer and mark at ¼” with a pencil
  • Were you made the pencil park cut at a diagonal stopping at the horizontal score mark
  • Take that cut off piece and place it on the other side as a template and cut at a diagonal
  • Score all the score lines
  • Remove the Adhesive tape off the ½” tab and close it
  • Punch two ¾” circles with the Circle Punch
  • Place Tear & Tape on the bottom of the ¾” tab and close the envelope
  • Add one of the ¾” circles to the broad flap and place a Metalic Brad through it
  • Line up the other circle and place a Metalic Brad through it
  • Take Whisper White Baker’s Twine and close Envelope
