My Inky Friends Design Challenge No 9
Hi Friends!
I am so excited to be apart of these monthly Design Challenges with my wonderful Inky Friends. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who met through an online community. We get to create something new and have lots of fun along the way. This months sketch is above.
Here is what I made
Cutting & Scoring
- Whisper White – 4 ¼” x 11″ score and folded at 5 ½”
- DSP – 1″ x 4 ¼”
- Basic Black – 1/8″ x 4 ¼”
- Soft Sky – 1″ x 11″
- Basic Black 1″ x 2″
- Basic Black – 1/8″ x 4 ¼”
Instructions
- I stamped a few rows of stars on the card front
- Stamped the sentiment “friends make the season shine” above the row of stars
- I then layered the DSP on it
- Attached a 1/8″ Basic Black strip above it
- On a strip of Soft Sky I stamped and punched out the “petals”
- Punched out a ¾” circle and glued the petals onto the punched out circle
- Punched out 2 ¾” Basic Black circles for the center of the flowers
- Glued one flower down and popped one flower with a Dimensionals
- Randomly stamped stars all over
- Tied a bow and adhered it down with a glue dot
- Stamped the inside of the card as shown
