Clear Block D Stampin' Up

Adorable!

I love to up cycle! This is a Block D case that the Clear Acrylic block comes in.

I always used to throw these away and I bought a whole bunch not to long ago and I was determined to make something with them.

Baby Food Jar!

I was thinking of making a lovely hand scrub to place in this baby, and pair the two together as a Christmas Gift. I know I’d love to receive one of these.

Cutting & Scoring

  • For the Box the Basic Black piece is cut at 3 7/16″ by 4″
  • For the Hershey’s nugget wraps the DSP is cut at 1″ by 3″
  • Piece of Whisper White for the Snow Man cut at 2 ¼” by 4 ¾” (you need 2 pieces)
  • Basic Black for the lid of the Baby Food Container cut at 2 ½” by 2 ½”
  • Whisper White for the lid cut at 2″ by 2″
  • DPS for the wrap of the Baby Food Container cut at 1 ½” by 9″

Instructions

  • I took the Basic Black piece cut at 3 7/16″ by 4″ and rounded the corners
  • I used the Embossing Buddy to prep the cardstock and make sure all the oil was off the cardstock. Stamped the “To, From”with Versamark Ink and heat set it with the Gold Embossing powder
  • Wrapped all the Hershey’s nuggets and used Glue Dots to adhere it
  • Placed the nuggets in the container put the backing on and closed it. Took the ribbon and Tied it around the pop out
  • Stamped the Snow Man and Die cut it with the matching Framelits and colored it with the new Stampin’ Blends
  • Used a Glue Dot to adhere the Snow Man on the front
  • For the Baby Jar of food I used the Pick A Pattern Washi Tape and put it around the lid
  • Punched out a 2″ Basic Black circle for the lid as well as a 2 ¾” Whisper White circle where I stamped the sentiment
  • Stamped and Die Cut the Snow Man and colored him in using the Stampin’ Blends
  • Wraped the Jar with the DSP
  • Tied a Bow around it. All that is left to do is make my scrub

I hope you enjoyed todays project and will think about upcycling before getting rid of it. My hubby says I am a hoarder and I’m like hey I can make something with that. What is wrong with you.lol

Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Thanks so much for joining us today!

Take Care

Great upcycle. I was trying to figure out what the Hershey’s Nuggets were in. I would have never guessed the packaging for our blocks. Good job.
