Hello Monday! where did the weekend go???
I have an adorable project to share with you guys today and with Halloween coming up this is perfect for that.
I told you these were adorable!
Cutting and Scoring
- Basic Black for the box piece and that is cut at 4 ¼ by 11 Score at 5 ½
- 1 inch by 5 ½ Basic Black for the brim of the hat
- ¼ Pumpkin Pie piece for above the brim you can also use DSP
- Scrap piece of Whisper White to stamp the sentiment
- Scrap piece of Basic Black
Instructions
- Take your 4 ¼ by 11 piece and put the 4 ¼ at the top of the trimmer
- Line it up at the 2 1/8 mark and take a pencil and make a mark at the top and bottom of your paper
- From the 2 1/8 inch mark pivot sideways (horizontal) to the 5 ½ score and score
- Do the same on the other side
- Essentially you are making a triangle of score lines within the 5 ½ in score line
- Repeat the same on the bottom
- Fold and burnish score line and glue and glue the sides
- Take the 1 inch by 5 ½ and attach it to the bottom of the box
- Use your paper snips and cut up from the corner to make the points
- Attach the strip above the hat and cut the excess off
- Stamp your sentiment and punch it out
- Add it to a Basic Black circle
- Pop it up on Dimensional’s
- I added some Black Rhinestones above the sentiment
