Tote Bag-Painted Harvest-20 Sep 2017-Stamp with Shar

Dont you just love these tote bags with the painted Harvest. They are just the cutest. I love this stamp set it was a must have when the Holiday Catalog came out.

The paper is actually DSP (designer series paper) I made myself and cut up. I totally overlooked that beautiful DSP in the Holiday Catalog. Boo, so I had to improvise.

I love how these turned out.

Cutting and Scoring

• Designer Series Paper cut at 2 ¾ by 9
• Early Espresso (for the box) cut at 3 by 4 score on all four sides at ¾
• Two strips for the bottom and top of the DSP cut at ½ by 9 ¾
• For the handle ½ by 8

Instructions

• Start with the box part 3 by 4 and score all the way round, cut up the tabs and miter them, glue the box together and let it dry
• Take the DSP and on the top and bottom of the DSP put Tear & Tape along the edge
• Take the two strips cut at ½ by 9 ¾ and place it on the top and bottom of the DSP and cut off the excess
• Take your Bone Folder and run it along the DSP piece to break up the fibers and curl the paper
• Curl the ½ by 8 piece aswell (handle)
• Take Tear & Tape and put it all along the box part
• Start wrapping the DSP piece around the box, when you get to the end take Tear & Tape and put it up the side and seal the box/bag part
• Add the handle with glue dots
