TGIFC118 Emboss Resist Challenge

Good Morning Crafting Friends,

Happy Saturday! Today is the perfect day to get in my room and get creative. The weather is dark and dreary and looks like its gonna rain. Are we in Summer or what?

I happened to be on Facebook and saw a beautiful card created by Chloe Evans. You have to check her card out its just gorgeous.

The theme for this week TGIFC118 is emboss resist challenge.

I had a totally different design in my head but ended up turning a simple card I was making into a shaker card

Cutting and Scoring

• Whisper white cut at 4 1/4 by 11 scored at 5 1/2
• Night of navy cut at 3 7/8 by 4 3/4
• Window sheet cut at 3 1/4 by  31/4

Instructions

• I used the sheet music background stamp and stamped it with versa mark ink and used clear embossing powder, I heat set it
• Cut the night of navy and used the layering squares and cut out a square
• Took a piece of basic black and cut out a border for the square
• Cut a solid butterfly with night of nave and the overlay with basic black and popped it up on a dimensional
• Used pick a pattern washi tape and added it to the bottom
• Place foam adhesive strips around the frame and added silver glitter and attached it to the card
• Place metallic enamel stars randomly around the card
• Tied a bow with the solid basic black bakers twine and used a glue dot to attach it
