Stampers Showcase Blog Hop January 2020

This month’s theme is all about LOVE! and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner we thought we would share some ideas with you. I hope that our ideas and projects will help inspire you to create your own beautiful cards and don’t forget to leave us all comments we love to hear from you! Thanks so much for joining us!

For my card today I decided to use the Heart to Heart Bundle (first time playing with it) I think I have a love hate relationship with the die. lol

My inspiration today comes from page 3 of the 2020 Mini Spring/Summer Catalog AKA Occasions Catalog.

Cutting & Scoring Measurements

• Crumb Cake – 4 ¼” x 11″ score and fold 5 ½”
• Whisper White – 4″ x 5 ¼” – need 2
• Vellum – 2 ¼” x 2 ½”
• Whisper White – 2 ¼” x 2 ¾” – sentiment
• Whisper White – 3″ x 4 ¼”

Instructions

• On one of the 4″ x 5 ¼” take Lovely Lipstick Ink and stamp onto a clear block picking up the ink onto the block
• Repeat with Calypso Coral
• Take your Aqua Painters and drop water onto the block picking up the ink on the brush
• Randomly cover the 4″ x 5 ¼” with the two different ink colors
• Die cut the ink covered piece with the Detailed Hearts Die
• Stamp tone on tone with the Crumb Cake and the small hearts from the stamp set Heart To Heart
• Die cut the largest Scalloped Square and attach it to the Crumb Cake
• Place your die cut hearts over the scalloped Whisper White you will need the Fine Tip Glue Pen for this
• With the Vellum Die Cut the 3rd Stitched Sweetly Die
• Stamp the sentiment on the 2nd Stitched Sweetly Die
• Place Silver Metallic Thread behind the sentiment and pop it up with Dimensionals
• Take Multipurpose Liquid Glue and place it behind the Vellum making sure you only add glue behind the sentiment
• Randomly add Rhinestones to the card
• Stamp card inside
