Shadow Box With Gift Card

I have a really cute project to share with you today. It’s this beautiful Shadow Box With Gift Card.
I am loving this Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper.

Cutting & Scoring
- Basic Grey – 8″ x 10″ score all around at ½”, 1″, 1 ½” & 2″
- With the 8″ along the top of trimmer score at 2 ½” & 5 ½” only down to the second score line
- Repeat on the opposite side
- DSP – 6″ x 12″ lid
- Designer Series Paper – 2 ¼” x 7 ¼” score at 3″ (gift card)
- DSP – 1″x 3″ (need 10)
Instructions
- Score all the score lines as indicated above
- Start with the small score lines you did
- Cut up the first 2 score lines
- Then cut at a diagonal
- Cut straight up and then down all the score lines
- Repeat all around
- The diagram below will show you where to cut
- Cut away all the x
- The red lines is what you will cut on
- Miter all the tabs
- Add Tear & Tape around the box
- Start with the bigger tabs and remove the Tear & Tape backing and glue it closed
- Remove Tear & Tape on the smaller tabs and close the box
- Add your candy which you will wrap with 1″ x 3″ DSP and glue closed with glue dots
- Add Tear & Tape to the sides of the 2 ¼” x 7 ¼” DSP
- Wrap the ½” x 7 ¼” strip around the gift card and embellish
- Take the 6″ x 12″ DSP and wrap it around the box using your fingers to make the score lines
- Add Tear & Tape and seal shut
- Embellish the front
