Hello and welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop for May 2018 our theme for this month is either Mothers Day or Fathers Day. I know Mothers Day has come and gone but I don’t have a Dad so my Mom is not only my Mom she is my Father too!

I love the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. It’s so SHINY! (These Thinlits will be retiring soon and is available while supplies last.

The Mini Treat Bag thinlits are about to retire. Trust me when I say….if you don’t have this set of thinlits GET IT BEFORE ITS GONE. It’s a fabulous set, I tell ya. To instantly make treat bags or great projects like this…..wonderful!

In order to create this mini treat bag gift card holder is a 6″ by 12″ piece of DSP, which means you can make 2 of these form on full sheet.

It is such a pretty gift card holder! I hope you like it too and will give this project a try.

Cutting & Scoring

• Very Vanilla – 3 ½” by 5″
• Rich Razzleberry – 2″ by 2″
• Very Vanilla – 1 ¾” by 1 ¾”
• DSP – 6″ by 12″ – cut into (1) 6″ by 6″, (1) 3″ by 3″
• Velvet Ribbon – 14″
• Crumb Cake – 2″ by 3″

Instructions

• With the Big Shot Machine, die cut the Mini Treat Bag on the 6″ by 6″ DSP
• Use Multipurpose Glue to adhere the Treat Bag together
• Add a Pearl Doily to the treat bag
• Tie the ribbon around the bag and tie a square knot on the left or right side of bag
• Place the 2″ by 2″ Rich Razzleberry over the Ribbon
• Stamp your sentiment on the Very Vanilla 1 ¾” circle and off set it from the Rich Razzleberry
• To create the gift card holder, punch the top of the 3″ by 3″ DSP with a small snip of the ¾” Circle Punch
• I added Tear & Tape along the (3) sides of the gift card holder and adhered it to the bottom of the remaining 3 ½” by 5″
• Stamped “Happy Mothers Day” above the gift card insert
• Adhered the Circled Tab Punch to the top with Crumb Card and punched out a ¾” circle with Very Vanilla and wrote “Pull”
• Insert your gift card into the bag
