I struggle with this type of card. I probably started a card over about 6 times, I just couldn’t come up with anything that blew me away. My first attempt I was thinking of baseball
I used the Cheers to the Year stamp for that, but just had nothing. So with that being said. Here is what I came up with
Cutting & Scoring
- Card base is Pool Party cut at 4 ¼ by 11 scored at 5 ½
- Designer Series Paper cut at 2 ½ by 3 ¼
- Another piece of DSP for the top cut at 1 ½ by 3 ¼
- Whisper White for the sentiment cut at 2 ½ by 4
- Whisper White for the inside of the card cut at 4 by 5 ¼
Instructions
- Fold card base in half
- Add your DSP to the front of the card
- The Whisper White piece I ran through the big shot with the Celebrations Duo embossing folder
- I took Sponge Daubers and stamped on the embossed image with Lemon Lime Twist, Night Of Nave and Soft Sky
- Punched out balloons one in Lemon Lime and the other with Merry Little Christmas DSP
- Behind the focal image I put Black Metallic Thread, added it to the card
- Glued down one balloon and popped one on a dimensional. Used White and Black Solid Bakers Twine for the strings and added a bow at the bottom (In Color Bitty Bows)
