Boy do I have a fabulous card to share with you guys today. I must say the card turned out fab. I love the softness to the cards, that vintage look is what I was going for.

I am not really into making sympathy cards unless I need it. For some reason just thinking about the nature of the card makes me sad. I must say though ” I DID NOT NEED THIS ONE” all my family and friends are safe and well, thank goodness 🙂

Today’s card came out really lovely and usually I don’t do videos on Tuesday but I thought well, I have to with this one. The look is kinda vintage, and I absolutely love how this card turned out

Cutting and Scoring

  • Cut Crumb Cake at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
  • You will need 2 pieces of Very Vanilla cut at 4 by 5 1/4
  • On one of the Very Vanilla piece you will tear all the way around

Instructions

  • With the leaves you will stamp on and off going around the card. You will then take a sponge dauber and sponge the leaves and the edge of the card
  • After tearing the Very Vanilla piece you will stamp the large rose. You will take the Crumb Cake and sponge around the edge of the card
  • You will take Tranquil Tide and sponge the leaves
  • You will then sponge the the rose with the Calypso Coral
  • Take a spare piece of Very Vanilla and just stamp the rose. You will need to stamp 3 of them and sponge them with the Calypso Coral
  • You will then fussy cut the rose largest to smallest and put dimensionals on all 3 pieces you cut out
  • Add the card front to the card
  • Stamp the sentiment on the inside and sponge around the edge of the card, add that on the inside and you are done. A beautiful vintage look.
