It is never easy to lose a pet, they are family! I am dreading the day we are faced with that challenge. My boys have such a special attachment to our girl Khiya. Where I was born “Ekhaya” in one of the Native Languages stands for “Home” and it took me a very long time to convince the hubby to get us a dog. When she arrived she was finally home so that’s when I suggested the name to the hubby.
