Hope everyone is having a fabulous Thursday! Today’s card is so cute. You know during Christmas when everyone sends out their cards that are done with a photo, well I decided to make a card that has a place for your photo to go, so if you have a picture of your children its a nice way to put it in a card so everyone can see how your kids are growing.

Card Inside
A little fun fact, that’s a monkey in the picture. When I took my husband to South Africa to meet my family they were in the yard running around like chipmunks/squirrels. He is stealing a plum my mom put out. When I was younger I wanted a monkey as a pet so bad that I had a stuffed toy monkey I carried everywhere and my family started calling me “monkey girl” what a fabulous nickname that was. You can imagine going shopping and my sister screaming “monkey girl, monkey girl” well lets just say people would stop and look for a monkey girl. Ha, ha, ha
Cutting and Scoring
- Whisper white card base and that’s cut at 5 1/2 by 10 1/4 scored at 2 and 6 1/8
- The designer series paper for the flap of the card is cut at 1 7/8 by 5 7/8
- Bottom flap is cut at 3 3/4 by 5 7/8
- Your photo should be cut at 3 7/8 by 5 1/4
Instructions
- Fold the card on the score lines
- Attach the designer series paper to the front
- I used the envelope punch board to round the corners on the short flap
- Stamped the daisy in wisteria wonder ink, stamping on and not re inking and stamping again. Punched out both flowers using the daisy punch
- Used glue dots to attached both daisy’s together. Added a clear faceted gem to the center
- Die cut the ovals with the stitched shape framelits, one in whisper white and one if night of navy
- Stamped the sentiment on the front and on the inside
- The photo I had to cut down to fit the inside of the card
