Paint Play Box Bag

Today’s project features one of my favorite stamp sets called Paint Play. This cute box bag is such a fun way to give some candy to a friend.

These cute little box bag is a must try, super easy to put together.

This little box bag fits about 10 or so Hershey’s Kiss.

Cutting & Scoring

For the box start with a piece of card stock that measures 5 ½ by 8 ½ with the 8 ½ along the top score at 2, 4, 6, 8
Flip the card stock and with the 5 ½ inch along the top score at 2 and 5
Piece of Berry Burst cut at 2 1/8 by 5 ½ cut down to ½ by 5 ½
Whisper White piece cut at 2 by 5 3/8

Instructions

Stamp the dots randomly in Lemon Lime Twist ink on the Lemon Lime cardstock or the same tone on tone depending on the cardstock you decide to use
With the 8 ½” side at the top, score the cardstock at 2”, 4”, 6”, and 8″
With the 5 ½” side at the top, score the cardstock at 2” and 5”
Cut along the score lines
On the ½” piece cut the small square away and the rectangle away and miter it
Place Tear & Tape along the “Adhesive” Tab.
Fold in the first panel and bring the Adhesive tab end on top. This will help ensure it lines up nicely.
Fold in the bottom and place Tear & Tape on the last panel or Multipurpose Glue (glue of preference)
Fill box with Hershey Kisses. Pinch the box closed. Gently push in the sides so they cave in slightly.
Wrap the ½” x 5 ½” strip of Berry Burst or color of choice depending on the colors you use around the top of the box so the ends meet in the back.
Clip in place with a Gold Binder Clip.
Stamp sentiment in Basic Black ink on the left side of the Whisper White cardstock and punch with the Everyday Label Punch.
With the remaining Berry Burst or cardstock of color choice punch (2) Everyday Labels.
Cut (1) label in half the length of the punch. Cut the other label in half the opposite direction.
Place SNAIL down the ends of the sentiment and add the Berry Burst pieces to the back.
Add (2) dimensional in the center of the sentiment and add to the front of the box.
