Flat Laying Boxes Myths & Magic
I have a really cute box to share with you today using the Myths & Magic DSP. Super easy to put together and the best part is that it stores flat until you need it.
The DSP is spectacular, if you don’t have it, trust me you need it, its adorable!
These boxes store flat, which means it doesn’t take up much room. Perfect.

Cutting & Scoring
- Bermuda Bay cut at 4″ by 11″
- With 4″ at the top score at 1″ and 3″
- The 11″ along the top score at 1″, 2″, 6″ and 7″
- DSP cut at 1 ½” by 12″ (belly band)
Instructions
- Score all your score lines as indicated above
- On the bottom you will cut away the two squares
- Take your Envelope Punch Board and round the corners of the flap
- Fold the flap over and with the ½” Circle Punch, punch out a small notch
- With your ruler make Diagonal score lines on the 4 squares. See image below
- Once you place adhesive on all the places where I have adhesive written
- Where the 1″ and 3″ is you are gonna fold over
- The box will automatically start to form
- Stamp sentiment and die cut it out with the Stitched Shape Framelits
- Die cut the layering Circle with the Layering Circle Framelits
- For the belly band you are gonna wrap it around the box and use your fingers to score it as you go round
- Add adhesive and place your sentiment covering the paper where it meets
