File Box Using Envelope Punch Board

All weekend I was trying to come up with a way to make a fry box without downloading a template. I did not purchase the die which has now retired. So this is my take on the fry box (kinda)

A gift card fits perfect into this box, I used a Starbucks one and added some cookies into a bag. Perfect!

I love this paper, this little box is perfect for some chocolates too!

It really doesn’t matter what Designer Series Paper (DSP) you use, all the paper in the Occasions Catalog is beautiful.

Cutting & Scoring

• Melon Mambo cut at 6″ by 6″
• DSP cut at 2 ¼” by 9″ score at 2 1/8″, 3 5/8″, 6″ and 7 3/8″

Instructions

• Take the base and line it up at the 2″ mark and punch and score  move down to the 4″ mark and punch and score
• Repeat on 3 of the sides
• On the last side you are only gonna punch
• Fold and burnish the score lines
• With the piece that has no score lines, on the bottom you are gonna cut up the two tabs
• The piece that has no score line on you are gonna cut across so it’s not pointy
• Close the box and take a staple and staple it shut
• Take The DSP strip and wrap it around the box
• Punch out a Silver Foil and a Whisper White using the Everyday Label Punch
• Stamp your sentiment on the Whisper White one and attach it to the Foil one and add it on your box covering the seam of the paper.
