I have a really fabulous project to share with you guys. It’s these Coffee Mug Treat Holder
Paper Coffee Mug
Cute right!
Cutting and Scoring
- Used early espresso card stock and its cut at 5 ½ by 8
- With the 5 ½ along the top of the scoring board you will score it at 1 and 3 5/8
- The with the 8 along the top of the score board you will score at 1 ¼, 2 ½, 3 ¾, 5, 6 ¼, 7 ½
- 6 Pieces of DSP measuring 1 by 2
Instructions
- Cut the cardstock to the length you need
- Start scoring all the score lines
- Fold and burnish score lines
- The piece that is bigger you will cut the corner off
- Cut bottom tab too
- On the bottom with the smaller squares you will use your envelope punch board to punch out notches along all the score lines
- When you compleated the notches . You are gonna cut up the notches
- Use tear and tape and add tear and tape on the top of the larger squares and below the score line and also the small tab front and back of the tab
- Remove backing and fold down the large square, not all the way as the small tab has to slot into the folded down piece
- Flip the mug upside down and start gluing the tabs down
- Use a 2″ circle punch and punch out two circles, one for the inside and one for the outside
- Punch out a 2″ circle then take the 1 ¼” and punch a hole in the middle of the 2″ circle
- Make two score lines, this is your handle
- Add DSP around mug and add handle
- Place glue between the score line and attach handle
- Wrap the candy and place in bag and tie a bow and add it inside the mug
