CASE The CAtalog Monday Has Arrived!
There are so many places to find inspiration for the projects we make. When we CASE (Copy And Share Everything) we find inspiration in a project – theme, color combinations, layout, products used – and create our own project by making changes to make it our own.
When CASEing, it’s important to give credit to the original designer (if known) – it doesn’t take away from your projects at all.
Each week we focus on a card or 3D project from our Catalogs. I love CASEing The Catty Monday’s, there is so much inspiration in that book (I like to think of it as an Idea Book) Today’s project was inspired by the card found at the top of page 119

Cutting & Scoring
- Crumb Cake – 4 ¼” x 11″ score and fold at 5 ½”
- Night Before Christmas DSP – 3 ¾” x 5″
- Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5 ¼”
- Basic Black – 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛”
- Very Vanilla – ½” x 3 ¾”
- Night Before Christmas DSP – 2″ x 3 ¾”
- Very Vanilla – 2″ x 2 ¾”
Instructions
- Using the Pretty Label Punch
- Punch out two Pretty Labels from the Basic Black matte layer
- Attach the Night Before Christmas DSP 3 ¾” x 5″ to the Basic Black layer then attach to the card front
- Place the 2″ x 3 ¾” DSP towards the bottom portion of the DSP
- Cover the seam with the ½” x 3 ¾” Very Vanilla
- Stamp sentiment onto the piece of 2″ x 2 ¾” Very Vanilla using Real Red Ink
- Punch out using the Pretty Label Punch
- Attach sentiment to the two Basic Black Pretty Label Punch-out’s, leaving a small border
- Using Dimensionals attach the sentiment
- Randomly add Rhinestones
- Stamp inside of the card
