Card Box Set – Share What You Love

I am so glad you could join me today for this Card Box Set because today’s project is a very pretty one and how many times have you wanted to gift a set of cards but have nothing to place them in.
I love this Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. It’s so SHINY! The paper has like a pearlized side (beautiful)
This is a really cute box that holds a set of 6 cards and envelopes. I hope you like it too and will give this project a try.

Cutting & Scoring
- Basic Black – 8 ½” by 10″ score all round at 1″ and 2″
- DSP – 5″ by 5″ score at 1″ and 2″
- DSP – 5″ by 6″ score at 1″ and 2″
- Basic Black – 3 ¼” by 3 ¼” largest Scalloped Circle
- Whisper White – 2 ¾” by 2 ¾”
Instructions
- Take the 8 ½” by 10″ and score all around at 1″ and 2″
- In all the corners you are gonna cut away 3 small squares
- See below for diagram
- Miter all around
- Fold and burnish
- Add adhesive to all the tabs and along the edge. I have placed stars on the tabs that need adhesive
- Take the tabs and close the box
- Fold over the flaps for a re inforced box
- With the DSP score at the 1″ and 2″ on both pieces of paper. Burnish the score lines
- Place adhesive on the end and attach it to the box base
- Die cut the layering circles and stamp sentiment on the Whisper White and attach it to the Scalloped circle
- Place adhesive only on the bottom of the Scalloped circle so the one flap can slot into it (used as a fastener)
- Place cards and envelopes inside and gift it to a friend
