Card Box Painted With Love Valentine
I know, I know, it’s so early for Valentines Day. Well before you know it, it will be here. This little Card Box is so stinking cute.

Cutting & Scoring
- Card base is cut at 6″ by 9″
- Along the 6″ score at 1½” and 4 ½”
- Along the 9″ score at 1½”, 3″, 6″, 7½”
- Between the 3″ and 6″ find the half way at 4½” and make a notch
- DSP cut at 2 15/16″ by 2 15/16″
- DSP cut at 1 7/16″ by 2 15/16″ (need 2 pieces)
Instructions
- Along the 6″ score at 1 ½” and 4 ½”
- Rotate so the 9″ is along the top and score at 1 ½”, 3″, 6″, and 7 ½”
- Between the 3″ and 6″ find the middle and make a notch on your score board at 4 ½”
- Take the Sweet & Sassy Framelits and cut out half a heart, lining up the heart with the last score mark, run it through
- Fold cardstock over and repeat the same process as the step above
- Along the last score line you are gonna cut away just till you reach the heart, on the top and bottom of the heart
- Repeat on the other side as stated on the step above
- Cut up along the 4 squares and miter the edges
- Where you made the 4 ½” notch, take your ruler and from the notch make a diagonal line to where the two score lines meet
- Repeat on the opposite side
- Use your Bone Folder and re in force the score lines
- Add adhesive to all 4 mitered tabs and make the “box”
- Pop the middle inwards so the 2 half hearts meet and use your bone folder to re in force
- Take the 2 15/16″ by 2 15/16″ and glue in inside the box
- Add the two strips on the outside
- Use the 1/8″ Hand Held Punch and make your holes to attach the ribbon and tie a bow
