Butterfly Basics Birthday Card
Happy Tuesday my stampin’ friends! I am excited to share this beautiful card I made. The colors go hand in hand and are just stunning.
The Vellum just adds that soft touch. It’s so pretty
This card came together so quick, the hardest part was waiting for the ink to dry on the Vellum paper so I could color it in.
Cutting & Scoring
- Fresh Fig card base cut at 5 ½” by 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
- Fresh Florals DSP cut at 3 ½” by 4 ½”
- Berry Burst cut at 3 ¼” by 4 ¼”
- Vellum cut at 3″ by 3″
- Marina Mist cut at 3″ by 3″
- Strip of Lemon Lime Twist cut at ½” by 4 ½”
- Piece of Whisper White cut at 3/8″ by 2″
- Whisper White for the inside cut at 4″ by 5 ¼”
Instructions
- Fold card base in half
- Stamp image on the Vellum and give it time to dry while working on the other elements
- Cut DSP and place in on the card at a slight angle
- Add Berry Burst also at an angle
- Run the Vellum piece with the Layering Circle Framelits
- Cut out a Boarder with the Marina Mist piece and keep the circle for another project
- Add the strip of Lemon Lime Twist at the bottom
- Stamp your sentiment and pop it up on Mini Dimensionals, I added a Rhinestone which is optional
- Once you image is dry, turn it over and color the leaves in. The flowers I used the stylus tool from the Simply Scored Scoring Board and did circular motion on the flower and that’s how the flowers turned White.
- Added it to the front of the card and attached the Marina Mist border around it
