Happy Tuesday everyone! I am so happy you’re here because I have a great card to share with you today. How cute is this birthday card!
There is sparkle, there are stars and who doesn’t love the new black rhinestone?
I couldn’t decide which one I prefered
Cutting and Scoring
- Card base is berry burst and that is cut at 5 ½ by 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼
- Basic black cut at 2 ¾ by 4 ¼
- Lemon lime twist is cut at 2 ¾ by 4 ¼
- Whisper white is cut at 2 ½ by 4
Instructions
- Fold card base in half
- I cut the lemon lime pieces, I cut a ½, ¾, 1 ½, I then ran all three pieces through the embossing folder (this is for the card without the black layer behind the lemon lime)
- Used the sunshine wishes thinlits and placed it in the corner of the cardstock so I was able to cut out the bow looking thing
- Then the remaining white piece I used the trimmer and cut the excess away
- I stamped on the whisper white piece with the celebration time stamp set
- Glued the lemon lime twist onto the card base leaving small spaces between them
- Glued down the sentiment and popped the bow onto dimensional’s
- Used the clear wink of stella and colored the bow to give it sparkle
- Randomly placed metallic enamel shapes
- The card that has the black layer behind the lemon lime twist was cut at ½, ¾, 1 ½ and the lemon lime was cut down at 3/8, 5/8, 1 ¼ on this card I randomly placed the new black rhinestone from the holiday catalog that will be available starting Sep 1st
