Hi Everyone,
I have a wonderful little project to share with you today, using the new Acetate Card Boxes from the Holiday Catalog.
These card boxes are wonderful, I wanna say its a favorite of mine right now. They are meant to hold cards and envelopes. However there are a ton of things you can use these little clear boxes for. The Treat Tubes on page 53 of the Holiday Catalog fit perfectly.
Can you see that the box is half of an acetate card box? They cut apart so easily and so 1 box makes 2 of these Coffee, Gift Card and Treat Holder things.
Cutting & Scoring
- Acetate box cut in half. Two Holders out of one box, we love that.
- Coffee Break DSP cut at 2 ¾” by 12″ scored at 3 1/8″, 3 ¾”, 8 1/8″, 8 ¾”
- Pear Pizzaz for the Large Stitched Shape Framelit 2 ¾” by 3 ¾”
- Whisper White to stamp the coffee cup 2 ½” by 3″
- Small piece of crumb cake for the little tag 1″ by 1″
- Pool Party for the wrap 1 ½” by 2 1/8″
- Piece of Early Espresso for the lid cut at 1″ by 2 1/8″
- ¼” Copper Trim cut at 21″ long
Instructions
- Cut Acetate Box in half
- Take your DSP and enforce all the score lines and add it into your box
- Run the largest Stitched Shape Framelit through the big shot with the Pear Pizzaz cardstock
- Stamp the coffee mug and die cut it with the big shot
- Using the Framelits from the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies I cut out a lid in Early Espresso, the coffee sleeve with Pool Party and the little Tag with Crumb Cake
- I ran Linen Thread through the Tag
- The lid is popped up with Dimensional’s and so is the coffee mug
- Wrapped the box with the ¼” Copper Trim and tied a bow and added my Coffee Mug focal piece
