Floating Frame Technique

I have a wonderful Technique to share with you. Whether you call it the Floating Frame Technique or Press’N Seal Technique this Technique is GORGEOUS! The technique essentially creates a beautiful “floating” background of images and is achieved with the help of Glad Press and Seal.

Cutting & Scoring

• Thick Whisper White – 5 ½” x 8 ½” score and fold at 4 ¼”
• Whisper White – 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
• Whisper White – 2 ½” x 8 ½”

Instructions

• Start by stamping a bunch of butterflies with Memento Ink
• Use Sponge Daubers and color the butterflies in
• Punch out the butterflies
• Arrange the butterflies on the Whisper White 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
• Place the Press’N Seal over the Whisper White 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
• Use your Paper Snips to carefully trim the excess images that were hanging off the edge of the background.
• Remove the Whisper White back layer
• Add Dimensionals and remove all the backing from the frame
• Place your card front over the frame and pray you to have it centered
• Stamp a sentiment in the center of the frame
