Eclectic Expressions Thank You Card

I have a really fun card to share with you today using the Eclectic Expressions stamp set. This Thank You card still has that WOW and was so quick to put together.

It is very pretty. I love it! I couldn’t decide which background I prefer. It sure does make a difference what color you use as a backdrop.

So on page 5 of the Occasions Catalog 2018 there was this “Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon” well Stampin’ Up! was unable to get it, so we never actually had any. However, you can make it yourself and it’s so easy to do.

I do not sew or have a machine so I improvised with the Bakers Twine and Mini Sequins Trim.

WOW! Right!

This card is great for a “class” or workshop (minimal supplies)

Cutting & Scoring

Fresh Fig – 5 ½” by 8 ½” score and folded at 4 ¼”
Basic Black – 4″ by 5″ (2 pieces)
Whisper White – 3 ¾” by 5″ (2 pieces)
Lemon Lime Twist – 1 ¼” by 3 ¾”
DSP – 2″ by 3 ¾”
Bakers Twine – 20″
Mini Sequins Trim – 5″

Instructions

Fold card base in half
Add Basic Black Layer
On one of the Whisper White layer add the DSP to the bottom
With the Lemon Lime Twist piece you are gonna use your Bone Folder to break down the fibres in the paper, once it breaks down you will notice the paper starting to separate, peel it off so you end up with two pieces
Take you Paper Snips and make cuts on the top and bottom
Attach it to the card above where the DSP stops
Use Baker Twine and tie a bow
Add Mini Sequins Trim with tape on the back
Use glue and attach to the front
Stamp inside as seen above
