Have you ever wondered how we do these fun fold cards. Some are complicated and some are down right simple to do. I have this gorgeous card to share with you today. It fabulous
Cutting and Scoring
- Card base is old olive and that is cut at 5 ½ by 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼
- Whisper white for the outside of the card is 4 1/8 by 5 3/8
- Basic black is cut at 4 by 5 ¼
- The designer series paper is cut at 5 ½ by 12 scored at 4 and 8
- Whisper white for the inside of the card is cut at 4 by 5 ¼
Instructions
- Fold old olive card base in half
- Add all the layers start with stamping your sentiment for the inside of the card on the 4 by 5 ¼, once you have stamped it attach it to the inside of your card
- Take the white piece 4 1/8 by 5 3/8 and attach it to the front
- Layer the basic black piece on top of that
- Take your designer series paper and find the half mark for the 5 ½” side make a small mark at the bottom
- Bring your stampin’ trimmer and score the designer series paper at 4 and 8
- With your paper vertical and the 5 ½ inch side is at the top and bottom. Find the half way mark at the bottom and make a pen mark.
- From the right hand corner of the 5 ½ side and where the mark is you made at the bottom line those points up on the track of the trimmer and trim away
- Do the same thing from the left hand side and you will be left with a triangle looking piece
- Fold the score lines right then left
- Took a 2 ½ circle punch and punched out a basic black piece
- Took the 2 circle punch and punched out a whisper white one, which i stamped the sentiment on
- Took a foil snowflake for the new holiday catalog and layer all the pieces
- Punched out another 2″ basic black piece and added it on the other side
- On one of the cards I took the new everyday label punch and punch out one in black and one in white.
- The basic black label i cut in half and then attached it to the white one
